I think a primary drive in the high prices is stock speculation. It is artificially high because of this.

Point 1 Cedars. Some countries in Europe Tax on the SIZE of the motor in your car. Thus promoting fuel economy, unlike here.
Speculation? YES! Speculate an economy without Oil!!
The administration will feel the effects of this as people realize what a bunch of ill-intent a-holes they are. You are right on that.
