With ??? which help us come concious of the hand, concious of the persons connected to the hands. So much that we become concious of our own hands, which we assume are used to press. Since they have been pressed on us, but there is no possible way to pressing back. For the system we live in there is only one action, which has no possible opposite and equal reaction. Some robos might get realistic enough to look self consious, yet they may not be so.
Some people pretending to be asleep may look unconcious yet they may not be so.
Some people are both asleep and so unconcious to the fact they're asleep, they BECOME robots with human-like thoughts. I like waking my family to "Can we open the presences now?" Rather than "WAKE THE DUCK UP!!! IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!"
