Gpdone, both you and Gahd have very interesting ideas; I'd love to hear more about each of them and any that others may have. After talking with one of my teachers I have come up with a research topic for my project. I'll be testing how polarizing the water will affect sonoluminescence. I'm thinking of getting two strong electromagnets and positioning them on opposite sides of the apparatus to where similar poles are facing each other. Perhaps by using the diamagnetic properties of water to force the hydrogen end of the water molecule to point towards the center will increase the energy output. |
