It sounds like being able to send multiple packets at the same time would be a good start; you could have a connections that's 4 times as fast as it is now without having to change the data transfer media...

That sounds like a good idea, but they will have to do a lot of linguistics in order to achieve this, not saying that its impossible, it would just be very hard to do considering many different dialects of many different languages, different tones and intanations, voices and so forth, but who knows what the future will bring right, i'd definately like to play with this kind of thing in the future...
is there a research in progress on that, if yes, than do they have a site and you do you have a link to it?
