Okay guys, before you get toooooo carried away...
The new job is not well defined yet. But it is basically the job of keeping track of all the software changes made (by others) to some of the flight software and ground software that will support the vehicle. It's kind of an integration, configuration management, update scheduling kind of job. I will be working closely with the manager (my boss) and he intends to take on another job in six months, leaving me as his replacement.
There. I've told you more than I actually know.
Somebody else will design and cut metal on the CEV and paint the exterior with NASA meatballs. So sorry.
EDIT: hmmmmmmmm... I may be able to persuade the crew to get tattoos, however.
