Re: Origin of the Universe,,,,Bang or no Bang
I am glad to see the demise of the big bang theory. I wondered how we could be so sure of any theory about the birth of the universe with such a relatively small amount of data. An expanding universe, it seems to me, could be just going through a temporary cycle, followed by a contracting cycle, etc etc etc like our lungs do when we breathe. Maybe the universe has been around ... forever?
