Inspired by the
"Double positives and Double negatives" thread, I decided I needed to study redundancy as part of my educational needs.
It will be fun and I know everyone will enjoy it in a fun-like manner. It's not intended to be serious so any seriousness should not be intended.
But seriously, to make this thread applicable to linguistics (rather than the watercooler), I suggest that we create the most clever examples of redundancy and attempt to analyze the context and psycholinguistics that precipitate. This will help make the thread more applicable to linguistics.
Why do we use redundancy and why is it used?
