Everything Colbert says is a joke. If anyone actually took him seriously, you are a sad, sad person.

The arguement can not be against gay marriage but not agianst gays themselves. You can not say being gay is ok, but gay marriage is not. Its illogical.

Still, there are arguements against homosexuality. But it follows the reasoning that all sex is a physical act, and therefore is addicting. Any addiction is defined as the compulsive need for something that is characterized by a building of tolerance and withdrawl. Therefore, the more sex you have, the more you want in quanitiy and quality. Homosexuality is necessarily a farther step from what is considered "normal" and therefore a "harder drug".

So if you yourself are completely abstinent yourself because you find rightousness is purity, I can place no judgement on you if you believe homosexuality to be wrong. But you should also consider all forms of sex as wrong unless used in the process of procreation.

I am probably more impure in this aspect than most, so....BANG AWAY. But the point is made....
