Armageddon in the form of a nuclear holocaust could happen, particularly if we continue to believe in religious nonsense such as the Rapture, and attempt to fulfill it's prophesy in an effort to demostrate it's credibility.
The truth is, in such a circumstance, everyone loses.

My sentiment exactly. It very much distrubs me the Christian Right has so much political power. Its power is a failure of our education system to teach our young
how to think, with its focus on teaching them
what to think.
