Except that you cant convert matter to antimatter without violating physical law..
Why dont you create a standing EM wave of some wavelength?
Whatever happens you would have trouble powering this device, you can recharge the hilt with energy it has expended, its that damned law of thermodynamics again, energy that leaves the system (in light, heat) is gone.
