In certain cultures in India the more hairy a woman is the more attractive she is considered to be. A heavy-set body is considered more attractive to/for both males and females in some south-pacific island cultures. Among the Massai, the more thin and slender a man is, the more attractive he is (in the west this is generally thought of as an effeminate look).
