This has to be the most outrageous example of how belief in the supernatural can cause people to do horrific things. It's really difficult to see how humans could be so caught up in stupidity they would believe such a thing. Matter of fact I would say that anyone who would do such a thing or participate in it is much less than human in a very real way. Then again only humans could think in such an illogical way.
