Can you have your cake and eat it too?
We can look at Mexico and China as models of poorly regulated environmental controls and protections.
People have jobs; but you can't drink the water, breather the air, and many products/produce are contaminated.
I'm against rollbacks that encourage more pollution and over-use of natural resources.
Call me a tree-hugger, but there has to be a middle ground somewhere.
People need to see the long term consequences instead of the short term benefits.
There are plenty of "jobs" and potential in keeping the environment healthy...
Tourism, recreation, sport, EPA, green alternatives, organic products, etc..
The fact that Bush W. wants to do this at the end of his term limit should be enough to raise eyebrows and vote it down.
