Portable digital audio recording
So i've scoured the internet for hours.

i'm looking for something to record outdoors with that's portable, as well as affordable.
the only thing i could find was this...

the thing is, it's just over 400$
i was hoping i could find something a little cheaper than that...that's ridiculous.
can anybody help me out?
