Re: DMT and the Psychedelic Pineal.

Thought I'd chime in this interesting discussion. Only 5% of the serratonin in the body is used in the brain and nervous system. 95% is used in the gut, where we have a 'second' nervous system. It is used to regulate peristalsys (sp)in the intestines. This is said to be a 'second' nervous system, because peristalsys continues, even when the spinal cord is completely severed. (Quadrapalegics digestive systems still work)
Also, had a 'hot' masseuse years ago.Legitimate masseuse for back problems. If I got an erection, she would massage my foot, along the arch, and it would go away. She later told me there is a link between where she was massaging me, and the pineal gland.Wondering if DMT could be released during sexual arousal. Would account for some 'out of this world"' sexual experiances! Jim
