It answers your question saying that during the Planck epoch (first 10^{-43} seconds of the universe) gravity was most-likely unified with the other 3 forces of the universe. After the Plank epoch gravity separates from the other forces. By the quark epoch (10^{-12} \ - \ 10^{-6} seconds), "The fundamental interactions of gravitation, electromagnetism, the strong interaction and the weak interaction have now taken their present forms"
