What if the participant is not familiar with the piano? Isn't a keyboard a terrible input module for testing for absolute pitch? Wouldn't an experimenter choose something more prone to *not* producing a reliable and in-tune pitch, like the voice?
I guess it really depends on a lot of unknowns.
