Re: suggested books on evolution

Stephen Jay Gould was a biologist and a supporter of evolution. He wrote a monthly column in "Natural History" magazine, and there are many collections of his articles. You might try reading one of these. He was by no means unbiased, but he wrote very well. The articles are not too heavy, and you can skip any you find boring. You will have to read several to get the full panorama of his views. Another excellent book of his on a different topic is "The Mismeasure of Man", contrasting IQ tests with phrenology.

Hypography?
