When an electron and a positron annihilate each other, the result is two photons.
The two particles contain the same amount of energy but their charge is opposite.
Does raise the question whether the electron consists of a reconfigured photon, or collection of photons.
Electrons jumping to lower shelves lose energy in the form of a photon - coincidence ?
