Are we talking about an aether here? The concept is quite old if we are. It does seem to be making a comeback of sorts however, and I'm really interested to see just where all these new ways of breathing life into an old concept will take us.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.
