Careful, that's *sour* cream, not whipped/whipping cream: sour cream can do weird things when you mix it with certain alcoholic substances...but I guess we could move that topic to the chemistry forum (although I argue that all cooking is chemistry!). Also, I've substituted raspberries in this recipe and although I actually prefer them to strawberries, their tartness does not work as well with the sour cream....
