No, it is not. This is a cooked-up interpretation which tries to fit old texts with modern technology. Jesus walking on water can be interpreted as someone having invented force-field shoes and given them to him.
I think a relevant question here is, "why"? Why would someone travel to the past with this kind of information? They would have to know that it would change the future, and in the process make themselves less likely to exist.
