I agree with you... I'm a little tired of people insinuating that sex or masturbation is dirty or wrong, somehow or other. Sex is only wrong when it's forced on somebody, in my opinion. I'm sure there are some gray areas in there, too... but we're all products of sex. I don't think there are very many people on the planet who can say that haven't masturbated at some point or other in their life - women included. I've heard of places that teach that it's "wrong", too. How horrible! Why is it that people are so afraid of sex? If we didn't turn it into such a "dirty" topic, children wouldn't be so distraught over the topic. It's a huge peer pressure issue, and especially with masturbation - I would love for my children to learn how to do this thing rather than experiment with other people before they're emotionally ready to, or rather than risk getting an STD. Some places refuse to allow minors to buy condoms (or in my case, we had a place that came out and handed them out at our school - people protested!). This is something I can't figure out... you can't stop a teen from having sex if they really want to - so why not at least teach them to use contraception? If we are more comfortable with the topic, it would solve a lot of problems. I don't at all see anything nearing TMI so far in this thread!
