this is kind of architechture related...

i need people to list everything they can think of that a city might ever need.

i would like you to write what it is and weather you think it is necessity, recreation, or some how classify it, spiritual might be one, be specific, so here is an example


firehouse-need to have-disaster aversion
bowling-ideal to have-recreation
hospital-need to have-medical


for hospital you might go into detail and list how many beds it might need to be or for bowling how many lanes you feel there should be, or how many of each they need or how many buildings could be listed in ratios like a grid of firehouses every 10 miles, or 1 walmart every 20000 people or something. i want to get huge so if you want post 100 things or more. you could even go though your local phone book and list everything if you want and what you think about it. i am entertaining the idea of if someone was to design a city with ample everything that would be needed

Schools - need to have - education (various levels)

Stadium - nice to have - recreational
Parks - need to have - recreational
Community transport - nice to have+ - commuting/environmental

Daycare for preschoolers - need to have - social (in order for people to be able to work)
Theaters - nice to have - entertainment/recreational

yeah community transport, if i was going to make a city it would be green and it would be cool if it was only human powered vehicals or either low energy transportation or public transport like buses and stuff, thanks that is one i woudln't have thought of for a while

Bike parking - nice to have - practical (what term to use for "things which help people generally" )
