| Re: Astronomers Eye Ultra-Young, Bright Galaxy in Early Universe Indeed "The faraway galaxy also is an ideal target for Hubble's successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, scheduled to launch in 2013." My prediction is that many galaxies like this one will be discoved in the so-called dark ages, or directly after. I can't wait for the metallicity data on those galaxies (if they exist). We will see if they are "young galaxies" or not. If they are not young galaxies, there will be some explaining to do (something I have been working on for quite a while). ;-) If it turns out they are in facct young galaxies, I will eat my hat. ![]() CC |

| Re: Astronomers Eye Ultra-Young, Bright Galaxy in Early Universe Actually, I don't have a hat. But I will buy one especially for this occasion. ![]() Quote:

But I'll still recommend a pretzel hat. ![]() | |
