Re: NASA scientists say liquid water formed recent gullies on Mars This is an encouraging find, liquid water on Mars would be of great importance to future missions. Not only because it would help sustain our personal involved in the mission but, because it should be the first place for us to look for traces of life. Very promising find indeed. Great article C1ay!!

Re: NASA scientists say liquid water formed recent gullies on Mars are these formations close to possible landing sites? could a base be built nearby? who will fund the mission? MS or google??? wouldn't it be funny if mars was an uber massive comet covered in mostly metallic debris that rusted in the sun over that last few billenia?

Re: NASA scientists say liquid water formed recent gullies on Mars C1ay, I got picture of dust devil of Mars from CNN three days ago, but format is gif, I try to get in mpg format, have you any info. I like to see but I think it's wrong we call it dust devil, it's better 'Dust in the Wind'.

Re: NASA scientists say liquid water formed recent gullies on Mars We should be careful not to get too enthused. The headline is recent gullies, but in the body of the text we read The young geologic age of these gullies [My emphasis.] In a Martian context this could readily mean millions or tens of millions of years old.
