But why the arrogant tone? It's a science news report... and there were no days, hours, minutes (or seconds) when the universe "sprang into existance". These are arbitrary measurements introduced very recently in the cosmic history. Nobody can ever say "Oh, the universe began shortly after noon on a Tuesday". It would not make sense. (Well, maybe Douglas Adams would have said that). | |
