The recent Victorian bush fires I think burned out 100,000 sq Kilometers.
That was said, (on the news), to be half the annual CO2 emissions from the State of Victoria('s humans).

Australia has six states and a few Territories. We are, I am told, responsible for 1% of the earth's CO2 emissions. (I could have it wrong or the government may be lying to me . They say the USA is the baddie with 30%+ of CO2 emissions Some other Ozzie may be able to help here.?)

How does that compute with the figures your have given Uncle Al?
