How come women have one more rib than men? Please don't tell me the story about how men gave away a rib to make women!

Are you sure they do? I know it is mentioned in the bible, but that is hardly the most up to date of medical journals.

A quick search of the net gave this answer:
Ribs (12 pairs - same number for men and women)
