Good day everyone. If you haven't already heard, Amazon is set to officially release to the public its Kindle 2 tomorrow, Monday February 9th.
I never did buy the current version, as I was hoping for an upgrade. As of this moment there are "leaked" pictures of the new Kindle, as well as speculative pricing.
On those two fronts respectively:
Now, I've decided that I will finally jump in and purchase the new Kindle, but it doesn't come without it's drawbacks. I'm a fan of bound books. The Kindle could never replace the joy I get from seeing a collection of books on a shelf. However, I do find the portability to be a huge advantage.
Time to take the plunge.

On those two fronts respectively:
- I kinda like the new design. It's definitely an improvement over 1.0, but I was really hoping for a touch screen.
- Word on the street is that it will cost the same amount as 1.0, which is very delicious in my opinion. I don't think I'd want to spend any more than its current price of 359.
