Well, my leave from school officially ends today as I begin COM 425 - Communications in Organizations. I have enjoyed the break from the weekly deadlines of school and used the spare time to work on other important things in life. My classes are on a five week cycle, and the leave that I took doesn't add up to an even five weeks, so I am now with a totally new group of students. I think that additional change will add some nice variety to the weekly routine. I was really nice having the time...

Here I am again. Another class done; Group Behavior in Organizations, and I am raising the white flag for the summer. I ended up with an 89 in this class, that with taking a zero on a rough draft because I didn't write one. The reason I am taking a break is because I realized I didn't give a shit about writing it. Essentially all I needed to do was spend 30 minutes typing up an outline of my paper and get the five points and a 94. Spilled cookie bouncing under the bridge.

In transferring my posts to the blog today I realized that an update is in order; and here it is...

I filed my grade appeal and supplied all required documents. The first person handling my case contacted the professor and presented the case and was met with a flat no. She apologized to me and escalated the appeal to her supervisor. He followed his process as well, and sent me the unfortunate news that the appeal process was exhausted and I was being awarded an F for the class....

How the might do fall. It was at my last posting that I mentioned I had made the Dean's list. On my very next class it appears that all hell has broken loose.

I have been mostly absent from here lately due to some pressing affairs at home, and they were keeping me quite busy. During my MGT 330 Management of Organizations class I started to slip a little. I have been pretty busy, still. Work, home, school; life in all of its diverse glory has been keeping me away from these hallowed threads far too much, but having gotten a solid hour of sleep last night with another hour until I tuck in the kids tonight it seemed like a good time to stop in and give an update.
