I like all kinds of movies. My favorites are the ones that are so old the only sound is one guy on a piano.
Least favorite....stupid ass movies. |

| | | Re: What's your favorite movie/s? I love hardcore sci-fi movies. Blade Runner, 2001, Alien, Solaris...
I like wacky sci-fi/alternate movies like Donnie Darko, Prime etc.
I have a weak spot for cool movies with bad plots, like the Matrix series and the Star Trek movies (I can't watch a Star Trek movie twice, they suck enough the first time). RoboCop.
Anything sci-fi with Arnold goes fine - Total Recall, Running Man...
I also really liked the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I loved Midnight in the garden of good and evil (which is a drama, not a horror flick). And A river runs through it. And Little women. And, ah. Stuff like that.
Worst movie, dunno. Possibly Glimmer Man with Stephen Seagal, with all his other movies as strong contenders.

Are we bound for the sea, to flea, the wretchedness we can no longer breed?
But for my favorite movies, I would have to go with (in no particular order):
The Big Lebowski
High Fidelity
2001
Bill Cosby: Himself
...lots more...hard to make a list on the fly...

| | The Fifth Element My favorite movie: Luc Besson’s ”The Fifth Element” (1997)
My favorite kind of movie: Like my favorite writing, science fiction, the harder the better; closely followed by zombie movies of the kind I call "tactical horror" (definitive example: “Dawn of the Dead”, Romero’s 1979 version, more than the 2004 remake – though I love the new one’s end)
My least favorite kind of movie: Physically nonsensical shoot-em-ups.
My least favorite movie: There are too many to decide among
I find the fact that my favorite movie is, by any practical measure, of my least favorite kind, an interesting and illuminating paradox.
