dongwoneun is an unknown quantity at this point

chemistry

Benzene,C6H6 Toluene,C6H5CH3
d= 0.8765 g/mol d= 0.8669 g/mol
Pvap= 384 torr at 60 Celsius Pvap= 133 torr at 60 Celsius
Pw= 78.12 g/mol Pw=92.15 g/mol

1)Which of the following will most readily dissolve in any mixture of toluene and benzene? why?
1. Methanol
2. SF4
3. BBr3

2) which of the following has a lower boiling point? why?
1. Toluene .2
2. Toluene .1

3)What would the mole fraction of toluene be in a solution for which the partial pressure of benzene equaled that of toluene? assume only toluene and benzene vapor is present.

4)Given the starting partial pressure show below, determine whether the reaction is at equilibrium(at 25C), and if not, indicate in which direction it will shift.why?
1. Pco= 1 atm
2. Ph2o= 0.5 atm
3. Pco2= 0.1 atm
4. Ph2= 0.5 atm

Re: chemistry

Do your own homework. What makes you think MeOH, SF4, and BBr3 are not each miscible with aromatic hydrocarbons in all proportions?
