Re: Thermite

find a car belonging to a person that you wish misfortune upon - place a 20cent sized pile on the bonet above motor and light her up! I have heard of good thermite burning straight through motor and all and just kept going into the ground

Re: Thermite

put it on some rock aand light irt, watch what happens through welding goggles. stay far back incase hot sparks come flying. watch out for said sparks getting onto your shoes, you don't need a hole burned through your foot.

Re: Thermite

haha, well, thermite burns through damn near anything. So, you can seriously burn a hole through whatever you want. Just keep an eye out for something that would be hilariously easy to destroy with thermite.

A car is an obvious one. But there are probably lots of other fun things you can mess up. Burn a hole through a mailbox, the sidewalk, sevag's mom's foot.

be creative.

Re: Thermite

The thermite reaction was used, at one time, to weld iron at sea. The result of the reaction is a blob of molten iron. Maybe you could weld two unlikely things together.

Re: Thermite

Thermite is easy to make. All you need is powdered aluminum mixed with powered rust or iron oxide. The reaction makes aluminum oxide and iron. You need a trigger to get it going. Model rocket ignition wire and a battery with long leads may do the trick. This will make it safer. Gun power from fire crackers and a long fuse should also work as the ignition source. Do not pack it in anything just leave it in an open pile.
