You're probably right, but of course what's happening here is the somewhat common practice among neophyte chess players to have a conversation going during the game about something probably having nothing to do with chess! All these openings have names, even the bad ones. This one is a Sicilian. I was once going to write a paper in college about the historical names of chess openings. I didn't, but I can't remember why; probably sobered up.
