Well, I live with three other two girls and a guy and we have a cleaning lady :-| (reason is that the landlady had her and she kept coming before we decided if we want her, then we got used to it).

So it is bi-weekly, but we have the unwritten rule that also men sit down (without ever speaking about it), because it gets messier even if you center 100%, because it just sprinkles always a bit (either on the impact or already while pissing, guys if you dont belive me try once to piss naked and tell me if you don't feel some droplets somewhere on the legs :-), but then maybe if you are less tall than me, you don't have that problem)...anyway, by all people sitting it gets less dirty... hence bi-weekly is enough.

As to the germs and hygiene, Eric Schlosser in his book "fast Food Nation" pointed out that studies showed that there are more rests of feces in the kitchen sink than on the toilet seat...so we know where to wash the salad ;-)
