We try. Bottles, glass, paper etc. But I admit to a certain lacklustre attitude towards recycling anything else - I live not too far from an energy plant where they simply dump everything into a big furnace and burn it all anyway.

That s.o.b. had TRAIN PARTS!! Do you have any idea how heavy train parts are!!

Actually I do!! I have often volunteered my time at the local rail museum.

But it should be noted that I actually use everything eventually. Usually for experiments... I'm very fond of tinkering with machines and electronics. ( besides it gives me something to do with my free time instead of hitting the bars! She seems to like having me around...or at least knowing that I am not doing things that I shouldn't.)

Also the list of things that I've fixed with parts I've saved is long and getting longer everyday!!

Just so you know, we did try to find someone who could use the train parts. A neighbor has a steam engine train on a short track on his property. He said he knew of no one who could use this stuff because there was too little of the whole. It was like a couple of pistons (one was cracked) and some other odds and ends.

I dont recycle, tho we have excellent programmes for it here. Why should I care enough about some unborn generation that I change my habits for their sake?

Its Important to Recycle. It saves Energy and Resources.
