Re: Where Would You Travel?

Eastern Europe is certainly most alluring. A trip down the Danube, perhaps. I havetoo many responsibilities to take care of for the next little while, however. (Never had kids, fortunately). So that will have to wait.
Central America and Mexico used to be a good vacation spot, but I'm too old to considering being kidnapped or mugged. I use to do Latin America when it was more benign. "Dems were the good old days".
As things present themselves today, I'm sticking to the good old U.S. of A. There is so much to see here and the safety factor is better. And I can leagally carry a firearm in most states, since I am licensed. Not that I am paranoid or anything.
If you want to be impressed with hardship, go to Africa and India. Try to be stoic or weep for them and then come back to the States and kiss the ground. I did.
I'm heading for Arizona, Utah and Montana this Spring. Gas prices are on the way up. Next year it may be worse. Sorry for the you younger guys, since traveling may not be so affordable soon.

Where Would I Travel..??

Hey Racoon.. I can't believe I missed the Boat

I mean Vote..

Haha.. If I was given/gifted/won a trip.. all expenses paid.. no strings attached.. I would still opt for my bed in my bedroom right next to the PC.. as this is the only place I feel I need to travel to.. and guess what..??

I can do this every night

On a more serious note.. oops I mean Vote.. Why was Astral Travelling not an option..??

I guess its in the same place Antarctica is the bottom of the World

Ashley
