Since nobody seems inclined to inform J what a voodoo chile is, here’s my interpretation/definition:

1. Someone conceived during a voodoo sex ritual, presumably possessing heightened voodoo powers (“voodoo child”)
2. One or both of two song by Jimi Hendrix, from his 1668 album, “Electric Ladyland”
3. Someone who, having listened to the songs by Hendrix, is struck by the realization that they are, by the definition imparted by the songs, a voodoo chile, regardless of the circumstances of their conception, or their belief or lack of belief in the supernatural

It’s highly recommended that, have you not already sat receptively through several listenings of Hendrix’s exquisite “Electric Ladyland”, you do so, as Hendrix is arguably the best musician of the 20th century, and it arguably his best album.

Nope, sorry. Don't consider myself a voodoo chile by the 2nd or 3rd definitions and I'm perfectly content to not know the finer points of my conception .

Most folks know when & where they were born, but have you have tried to narrow down the when & where of conception? As near as I can tell I was conceived on my Mother's birthday.

PS I can attest to no voodoo in the proceedings, but then no proof is not proof.
