Wonder what the resolution would be on the final product, and costs?
Obviously, the idea would start to sort out vision impairments and such, but I can see this concept replacing video monitors completely, and the biggest buyers be people with perfect vision.
GPS while you drive? No prob - have a head-up display in your normal field of vision! You can have a "bluetooth" kinda concept where all your car's telemetry is displayed in front of you. You can surf the web whilst jogging!
If they bring this concept to a mature product, it will be the most awesomely coolest kick-ass thing in the history of awesome kick-ass cool things!
