Google Maps Still Missing Features

Let's discuss the kinds of features we would like to see on google maps, we shall make this into a poll, too

Proposal 1

For me there is an obvious one. You should have the ability to list all gas stations and coffee shops and possibly hotels on the route to your destination, or within a certain distance off your route (that should be definable, say from on the route only to 15 miles or something)

I think this would be an extremely useful and used feature.

lets also vote on proposals, if you choose to, whoever posts here and would like to support or not support a proposal, please name a proposal and follow it with either a plus or a minus.

so say you liked proposal five, you would, in the beginning of your post, just say "5+" this is for simplicity of voting without a poll for now. I'll weed out more prominent features and we'll make it into a hypo poll

Also if you have features that you think will be neat in google maps, please add it using the following format

Proposal #

Description of a proposal

this shall be fun

----------------
Microsoft, the leader in using innovative tactics to promote irksome experience, coupled with antiquated technology that's held together by a pyramid of makeshift afterthoughts.

Apple, the leader in using irksome tactics to promote innovative experience, coupled with an antiquated core that's enhanced by state-of-the-art afterthoughts.

Linux, the leader in not using any tactics to promote user-defined experience, coupled with state-of-the-art core enhanced by innovative afterthoughts.
