Somethings XMMS would work, sometimes Mplayer, sometimes nothing. So what I did (on gnome, fedora core 6) was to install lame by typing in root: Code: % ./configure % make %make install The n I ireinstalled amarok (to have the magic you say) and it still doesn't work, but in the amaraok faq they say that playing mp3 is easily solvable Quote:
