Quick question about HDMI 1.3

with its rather ridiculous bandwidth, and micro cables could an HDMI connection be exploited as a system link between a console and a handheld?

Context:

ps3 may have an HDMI 1.3 connection, claimed to carry Super Hi Vision signals, no small feat that.. meaning it has bandwidth to spare even with 7.1 HD audio on a 720p signal..

could this extra bandwidth be used to have a sustainable hispeed connection between a handheld and its parent console? assuming that parent console had a second HDMI 1.3 port for this purpose even if the bandwidth was being shared between the cords (one dedicated to AV and the other the system link to handheld if not a sister video only cable)

the handheld in question would be some kind of nexgen handheld such as a microsoft handheld (meaning you'd have to ingnore the reality of 360s hdmi 1.3 non compliance), or a second generation PSP created for system linking with ps3 over this ultra highspeed hdmi interconnect?

why?

so that games could be synchronized with an attached handheld as a sister screen, where the GPUs, that would be xenos/rsx with their mobile counter parts over something simple like hdmi 1.3 cables.

---

i'm thinking if anything the parent console output could include a stream dedicated for the console that would be outside of the HDTV range which it could ignore, but the issue would be Human input being communicated back to the parent console over the HDMI 1.3 cable as well as any data generated by the handheld itself.

Re: Quick question about HDMI 1.3

did you not read the quite lengthy post about what cell architecture is supposed to be all about? Sucks that sony had to go and screw it all up by reducing the amount of cells in the PS3 to one.... luckily they also saw that the Processor wasnt running as fast as the rest of the system (no really? it was designed for 4 of them) so hopefully they will up the cells to 2 or 3 and then all you need is a wireless connection and you are in business alxian next gen super console
