Will too many plants harm the Earth?

The Happening
The World Without Us

I think both the above may not be all wrong though a lot of imagination.

We all think Green is good. But is it really?
Will one day we plant too much and innocently harm ourselves?

Things would fall apart if they lost balance.
And what is the extend for planting?

re: Will too many plants harm the Earth?

I am sorry for having typos in the title, it should be [Will too many plants harm the Earth?] I don't know how to amend it.

Re: Will too many plants harm the Earth?

I don't think too many plants can harm the Earth, but the opposite is certainly true. (by "Earth", I suppose you mean the biosphere rather than the actual physical Earth)

Re: Will too many plants harm the Earth?

while people are around, i doubt there could be too many plants.....but if something were to happen to people, say a massive plague and near extinction, then there would be all this carbon NOT going into the air, and plants might start collapsing due to high O2 and low C02

jsut a thought
