Oh, a good science fiction book that I am reading. Its by Peter F. Hamilton. You probably want to read the short story that is before the book I belive it is called "Blessed by an angel". Then the book I am reading is called The Dreaming Void. I think there might be a trilogy or series. It is really good though. his writing is great.

The Gaea Trilogy (Titan, Wizard, and Demon) by John Varley are among the best novel series i have ever read. The first book is kind of regular but it sets up a fantastic world of aliens and super beings unlike any other. The Integral Trees by Larry Niven is probably the most unique as well as good novel I have ever read. If you get the chance check out the short short stories thread in the water cooler, pyro has some really great stories there.

Im sorry I forgot to intruduce myself. I am theory. I have always had a great interest in Science Fiction. It has expanded my mind and caused me to think abstractly.
    Hows everyone doing?

Yes Clarke wrote about amazing things.
In Ben Bova's "Jupiter" some of the creatures are called Clarke's Medusa's, because one of clarkes short stories was about Jupiter and creatures that live on it.

I just read Cretaceous Dawn by L.M. Graziano and M.S.A. Graziano, great book, a very good time travel type book but the story is better than the actual time travel.

I just read the coyote trilogy by Allen Steele, a good read, lots of adventure mixed with some reasonable science and politics.

Pyro, did you read the Gaea trillogy? I am starting (again) Larry Nivens "The Integral Trees" Absolutly the most original premise I have ever read!
