About the Mayan Calendar

I tried to post a reply to somebody that asked if anyone knew about the Mayan Calendar, particularly the Tzolkin (Cholq'ij,) but for some reason the forum software didn't allow me to. Anyway, if that person is still around, i'd be more than willing to answer to the best of my ability about any aspect of the Cholq'ij, as it is a personal hobby of mine. I don't see it as a superstition but as the earliest contributions to the science of time, and one that is more relevant today than even, and perhaps necessary for our survival as the human race. Perhaps now with 1 post I will be able to reply to that thread, but in case anyone wants to learn about the cholq'ij, I have just started a small board for calendar enthusiasts wanting to understand the calendar and calendrical technique and method in more depth. Peace.
