War bonds lighters World war two lighters

Does anyone know if these used to be some kind of war posters or
something?
Were these sayings on these lighters actually used in war times?

This is an interesting question, but please do not add new threads with the same question repeated.

Thank you for your cooperation.

What's a war bond lighter?
