Talking I'm looking forward to this.

I'm mid 50-ies, work with Wind Energy world-wide, but predominantly North America. Renewable energy technology and its application interests me very much.

I have the heard that the answer is blowin' in the wind. Do you work with commercial scale equipment or residential (or both)? I have thought about gluing a wind turbine to the top of my shell.

Hello Turtle, (in Iceland I guess)
Yes, I work with 1 - 5 MW Machines.
Eskifjörður should be a great place for wind energy. I googled your address and looked at some pictures from you village. I have once worked together with a couple of people from Iceland, one of them was a Gudni Dagbjartsson who worked for ABB. And also Kristian Johanneson from the company Ronning in Reykjavik. However, that was more with GeoThermal power. Do you have any of that in Eskifjörður?

Hi PNJ. How rather perfectly interesting & amusing. There's a rather funny story about this, and that is that I change my virtual location periodically as I travel about the world. You are the second to suggest I give more information and photos of my travels, so I'm getting the hint.

Looking forward to gaining from your experience.

Welcome PNJ

Fascinating business. I looked into a residential wind generator for a while. Would love to hear more from you on the topic.
I look forward to getting a chance to pick your brain=)
