Welcome. . .
(It is hard to abbreviate your name so lets go with Mathew.)
Check out the Australia thread

Ozzies are gradually taking over Hypograpy. We just need to annoy a few more Yanks. they have no sense of humour. They can't even spell it properly
I don't know how you will go with geography because as you know yanks don't have a clue.
I recently saw a US report "Hottest Year on Record" and they were miffed that I pointed out that the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE had had no summer yet ! (shake head).

Welcome we look foreword to your contributions

Re: Hey from Australia

Australia having the coldest winter on record. Northern Australia got their max and min temperature coldest record low. Never ever happened before. Even our days averaging 21 degrees in winter and lately our days been so cold with temperatures plunging between 14-19 degrees. At night we never had it so cold every night. It between -2 to 10 degrees lately. I can't see anything goes warmer in next few weeks

you should post that in the "weather watching" Thread they would be interested.
I know country NSW has had some of the coldest temps on record
Apparently more snow fell in the snowfields last month than the whole of last year!
