Hopefully Useless or Uselessly Hopeful

I'm pretty much just a wonderer. I have reached middle age this year (if I live to be 116) and I think about stuff. In fact, when I accidentally found this site I got lost in wondering by just reading a couple of threads. Best stuff I've read in quite a while.

Anyway, I'm a retired white guy in the southern U.S. who thinks about things like reverse population trend calculation, floating continents, hummingbird stamina and so on; no form in my flow of thoughts.

Kinda weird, so maybe I'll fit in.

Yah...I too...so much to wonder bout!! I kill entire days even the occasional decades on subjects...usually many at once and usually none related! In short I spend more time in my head than in the world....good thing I'm able to do it whilst I do the various things I must to pay the bills and fulfill my responcibilities to my family and myself.

I too accidentally found this site and I got lost in wondering,
I've been here for a year now and I was not sure I would fit in (still not sure) I'm way out of my league in some areas.
But I have found this to be an island of pure thought, one that lets you express yourself, one where you can explore areas that you never thought you could, I have learned so much in the last year (Sh*t babbling again) ......
Don't worry keep an open mind and you'll fit in fine.

OOoooh, i get you :O, you dirty, dirty, you...

As far as weird people go, I fit that category fairly well, as well. I spend more time pondering things then not doing that, i also spend more time in front of a computer then i do eating, sleeping and working, all put together. I have been known to spend days up working on a problem, that to most people would have felt tile a waste of time...

But yes, welcome to hypography, the only place you know where productivity is counted in total sleep lost during the week...
